Dr. Hentz is the former chief of plastic surgery at Stanford University and a past president of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He has authored hundreds of peer-reviewed articles as well as landmark textbooks such as “Surgical Rehabilitation of the Upper Limb in Tetraplegia” with Dr. Caroline Leclerq, and “Hand Surgery: A Clinical Atlast” with Dr. Robert Chase.

Dr. Hentz is an internationally recognized authority in all aspects of surgery of the upper limb, such as tetraplegia, brachial plexus repair, peripheral nerve, biomechanics of the hand, congenital hand, and more.
