Professor Hidehiko Yoshimatsu, MD

Dr. Yoshimatsu was born in Hiroshima. His family moved to Columbia, Maryland when he was 7 years-old. He moved back to Japan and graduated from University of Tokyo Medical School.
He then trained at University of Tokyo under Dr. Isao Koshima, and moved to The Cancer Institute Hospital of Tokyo in 2017.
He is internationally renowned for helping elucidate the blood supply of the SCIP flap and it's applications in both soft tissue coverage and lymphedema surgery.
