Professor Sanj Kakar, MD

Dr. Sanj Kakar is Professor of Orthopedic Surgery The Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota.

Dr. Kakar obtrained his medical degree at St. Bartholomew's and The Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry. He was a resident in the Orthopaedic Surgery Program at Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship Orthopedic Surgery Hand and Upper Extremity at the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine.

He was the 2017 ASSH Bunnell Fellow and Past Vice Chair, Clinical Practice Committee
Dept. of Orthopedic Surgery. He received the Marshall Urist Young Investigator Award
Association of Bone and Joint Surgeons.
