Title:
Microsurgical Thumb Repair and Reconstruction.
Background:
Dr. Adani is the Chief of Hand Surgery and the Chief of the Department of Musculoskeleta Surgery at Modena University.
Dr. Adani, specializes in complex microsurgical reconstructive surgery of the hand and upper extremity.

He obtained his MD from the University of Modena, and did his Orthopedic Residency training at the University of Modena. He went on to do further fellowship training in Hand Surgery at the University of Modena and further fellowship training in Microsurgery at National University Hospital in Singapore under Professor R. Pho.

He was Head of the Department of Hand and Microsurgery ath the University of Verona from 2008-2015. He is the former President of the Italian Society for Microsurgery and former delegate to the IFSSH for the Italian Society for Surgery of the Hand.

He has published over 220 journal articles, 28 book chapters and was the Venkataswami Lecturer at the ISSH for 2013 and an International Guest Lecturer at the ASSH in 2017.
